Welcome to CosMate! This is a place where you can easily meet new friends and share moments of your life. While we keep it casual, we do have a few ground rules to ensure everyone can enjoy a fun and safe experience. Please take a moment to read them:
1. Age Requirement
・CosMate is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Please provide your accurate date of birth, as we may verify your age to protect the community. Accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be removed.
2. Be Authentic
We value the real you! Please:
・Use your own clear, recent photos—not someone else’s face.
・Avoid heavily altered or cartoonish images.
・Use your real name or a nickname you commonly use. Do not impersonate anyone else.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are not allowed on CosMate:
・Violence, hate speech, bullying, discrimination, or harassment.
・Nude or sexually explicit photos or content.
・Scams, spam, unsolicited ads, or commercial promotions.
・・Any content involving minors that depicts sexual exploitation or is otherwise inappropriate.
Content that promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or violence.
4. Interaction Guidelines
If you dislike someone, use the "Block/Report" or "Delete the chatroom” features to avoid further contact.
One-on-one matches will show limited profile info (photo, nickname) before any chat starts; chats begin only after explicit acceptance. No automatic matches without consent.
5. Reporting and Appeals
・If you encounter inappropriate behavior or content, you may report it using the “Report” button located at the upper right of each collection (post), chatroom, or via the Help Center in the Settings page. Your privacy and anonymity will be fully protected throughout the reporting process.
・We commit to responding within 24 hours and taking appropriate action, which may include content removal or account suspension.
Malicious or false reports may lead to penalties or restrictions on the reporting user.
6. Privacy and Safety Tools
・CosMate uses AI and human teams to review reported content and block inappropriate material.
・Photo verification may be requested to prevent impersonation.
・Do not share sensitive personal information such as your address, phone number, bank details, or passwords. CosMate is not responsible for any financial loss resulting from sharing such information.
7. Legal Compliance
・We comply with applicable laws and cooperate with law enforcement as needed.
・Accounts involved in illegal activities or serious violations may be suspended or terminated immediately.
・Harmful conduct by users outside the platform but related to CosMate users may also be subject to action.
8. Community Commitment
We ask all members to help maintain a respectful and friendly environment. CosMate will continuously update these guidelines and safety measures to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone.
