Age Requirement
・Access to CosMate is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years or older. Verification of date of birth is conducted during the registration process. Accounts identified as belonging to underage individuals will be promptly terminated. Where applicable, such accounts may be reported to relevant authorities in accordance with legal requirements.
Content Rules & Reporting
・Requirement
Posting of collections, photographs, or other content is contingent upon completion of account verification procedures. Such procedures may include submission of photographic identification to confirm identity during manual review.
Only accounts that have successfully completed verification are permitted to publish content. Failure to comply with content policies may result in suspension or revocation of posting privileges.
・Rules
Content deemed harmful or inappropriate is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
-Nudity or sexually explicit material
-Hate speech or discriminatory language
-Fraudulent schemes, scams, or spam
-Child exploitation or content promoting self-harm
-Impersonation, fraudulent profiles, or misleading identity claims
・Report / Block
CosMate employs automated filtering technologies and keyword detection to pre-screen content.Reports regarding content or private messages may be submitted at any time through the platform’s Report or Block functions, located prominently within the user interface.
All reports will be reviewed within 24 hours by our team. Appropriate remedial actions, including content removal and account suspension, will be applied as necessary.
False or malicious reports may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
Random Chat
When matched with another participant, a preview displaying partial username and avatar is presented. Communication may only commence following explicit acceptance. Options to unmatch, report, or block are available prior to initiation of contact.
Safety, Data & Privacy
Users are advised to exercise caution with data disclosure, avoiding sharing of sensitive personally identifiable information such as full legal name, telephone number, or financial data. Data handling is conducted in accordance with the CosMate Privacy Policy. Content removed due to policy infractions will be promptly deleted or anonymized to ensure user privacy protection.

The CosMate Membership Service Terms (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) govern the access to and use of the CosMate application and all services provided by CosMate Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). To protect your rights, please read the following provisions carefully before using the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you are deemed to have reviewed, understood, accepted, and agreed to fully comply with these Terms. The Company’s current Services are not intended for, and do not extend to, users falling under EU jurisdiction. Unless you have notified us of your nationality within any EU member state, the Company will presume you are not an EU national and will provide the Services accordingly. Please also review our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which form an integral part of these Terms.
1. Account
1.1 Users shall register a membership account prior to using the Services following the Company’s instructions (including but not limited to mobile number or email verification) and input information such as gender, birthday, and nickname within the Services before being entitled to use the Services with such account. Users clearly acknowledge and agree that any information voluntarily provided during the use of the Services may be made accessible to other users.
1.1.1 Age Verification
To comply with App Store safety standards, our Services are restricted to users aged 18 and above. We collect and verify the date of birth provided by users during registration. Accounts will be rejected or terminated if users are found to be under 18 years of age.
1.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate the user’s access to the Services in the following cases:
1.2.1 If the user has not accessed the Services for more than one year since the last login, the Company may terminate such user’s access rights after providing notice via announcement, email, SMS or Service notification at least fifteen days prior (any one of these methods is sufficient). The Company shall bear no liability for any damages incurred by the user due to such termination.
1.2.2 If the user materially breaches these Terms as determined by the Company, the Company may terminate such user’s access immediately after notice and deny further use. The Company shall not be liable for any damages resulting therefrom.
1.2.3 Upon such termination under the foregoing provisions, the user may appeal or clarify the termination with the Customer Service. The Company shall consider whether to reinstate the user’s access based on the circumstances.
1.3 To terminate use of the Services
1.3.1Users may apply to terminate their use of the Services through the “Delete Account” function or by submitting a termination request via Customer Service.
1.3.2 Following termination, the Company shall permanently delete all records related to the user’s use of the Services (including personal data, chat lists, conversation records, posts, and favorites) which cannot be restored by any means.
1.4 Except as required by law, for the purposes stated below, or with the user’s written consent, the Company may retain user data (including personal data, chat lists, conversation records, posts and favorites) following internal procedures for business and administrative purposes and shall delete such data no later than six months following termination:
1.4.1 To comply with applicable laws or fulfill statutory obligations;
1.4.2 To provide and complete customer support;
1.4.3 To resolve disputes between users or between the Company and users;
1.4.4 To detect, prevent, and address unauthorized, improper use, or abuse of the Services.
2. Consent and Amendments to the Terms
2.1 Users shall comply strictly with these Terms. The Services are only available to natural persons aged 18 or above. The Company may verify age including but not limited to requiring identity documentation. Users under 18 must not use the Services, and the Company may refuse or terminate access upon discovery of underage usage or failure to provide age proof as per clause 1.2.
2.2 The Company may revise or update these Terms at any time and shall publish the latest version. Continued use of the Services after publication constitutes the user’s binding and irrevocable consent to all changes.
3. User Rights and Obligations
3.0 User Generated Content (UGC) Upload Eligibility and Review
3.0.1 Users who wish to upload collections, posts, or any form of user-generated content (“UGC”) to the Services must first complete a mandatory account verification process. This process includes submitting required identification information and undergoing manual review by the Company or its designated representatives.
3.0.2 Uploaded content rights and obligations remain subject to the provisions of these Terms, including but not limited to content ownership, licensing, and compliance with applicable laws and Company policies.
3.0.3 The Company reserves the sole and absolute discretion to approve or reject any user’s UGC upload privileges, based on the results of the verification and manual review process.
3.0.4 Until successful completion of the verification and review process, users are strictly prohibited from uploading, posting, or sharing any collections, posts, or other forms of UGC.
3.0.5 The Company may suspend, deactivate, or restrict UGC upload privileges for any user who fails to maintain verification status or violates content upload policies, without prior notice.
3.0.6 Prohibited Content:Users are strictly prohibited from posting content containing violence, hate speech, non-consensual images, sexual exploitation, scams, child pornography, self-harm, or any other unlawful or inappropriate material.
3.0.7 Automated Filtering:We employ keyword detection and AI technology to pre-emptively screen suspected inappropriate content.
3.0.8 Reporting Mechanism:
a.Users may report any collections（posts), or private messages by clicking the “Report or Report/Block” button available adjacent to the content.
b.We will complete an initial review within 24 hours and take appropriate actions including content isolation, removal, or user suspension.
c.Malicious or false reporting may result in penalties or restrictions on the reporting user.
3.1 Users acknowledge and agree that the Services and their content (including code, features, data, visual interface, interactive elements, designs) and derivative content (including AI-generated content) are owned by the Company or respective rights holders. Users shall not acquire any rights beyond those granted and may not reproduce, modify, transmit, translate, create derivative works, or reverse engineer without authorization, nor claim transfer of rights from the Company.
3.2 By sharing, posting or uploading intellectual property-protected content (e.g., text, photos, images, audio, video, any material or combination thereof) via the Services, users grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license without limitation as to time or geography, to use such content for marketing, advertising, and promoting the Services (including but not limited to reproduction, modification, public transmission, exhibition, broadcast).
3.3 Regarding content deleted by users (including self-deletion, system deletion, or by the Company or authorized parties):
3.3.1 If content was used by the Company under clause 3.2 prior to deletion, removal from the platform is not required.
3.3.2 The Company may retain a copy on servers but guarantees no public disclosure. Retention period determined internally in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
3.4 The Company shall have no obligation to pre-screen content. If content is deemed illegal or infringing terms/policies, the Company may remove or restrict access without prior notice, or suspend all or part of the user’s Services temporarily or permanently.
3.5 Users shall not engage in acts violating laws, safety, rights of the Company or third parties, or otherwise inappropriate as detailed in clause 3.5, including but not limited to illegal acts, infringement rights, spreading harmful content, unauthorized marketing, disrupting Service operation. The Company reserves the right to restrict or terminate use accordingly. Users shall bear full liability for damages caused.
3.5.1. Acts in violation of laws, court judgments, rulings, or orders, or acts subject to legally binding administrative measures.
3.5.2. Acts that may endanger public order or good morals.
3.5.3. Acts that infringe upon the intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and patent rights), rights of reputation, rights of privacy, portrait rights, or other rights prescribed by law or contract of the Company or any third party.
3.5.4. Submission or transmission of content depicting excessive violence, bloodshed, or animal abuse; content containing overtly explicit sexual depictions; content involving discrimination relating to race, nationality, religion, gender, social status, family background, or the like; content that induces or encourages suicide, self-harm, or substance abuse; any content with antisocial themes or otherwise deemed objectionable by the Company; or any act deemed to be for an unlawful purpose by the Company (including but not limited to illegal gambling, money laundering, fraud, extortion, or financing terrorism).
3.5.5. Submission or transmission of content that violates or is suspected of violating the Children and Youth Welfare and Rights Protection Act, the Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation Prevention Act, or related regulations, or that constitutes child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including but not limited to enticing, suggesting, or containing images, photos, videos, or other materials depicting children or youth in sexual or indecent acts; any content involving the abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of children, such as child trafficking for sexual purposes, abduction of children for exploitation, sexual extortion of children, or any other means of sexual exploitation of children.
3.5.6. Acts of impersonating the Company or a third party or deliberately disseminating false information.
3.5.7. Sending identical or similar messages to an unspecified large number of users (except where approved by the Company), randomly adding other users as friends or to group chats, or any other acts deemed as spam by the Company.
3.5.8. Exchanging rights to use the Services for cash, goods, or other economic benefits in manners not specified by the Company.
3.5.9. Acts for purposes of marketing, promotion, advertising, solicitation, or other for-profit activities (except with the Company’s prior written consent); acts for the purpose of sexual activities or obscene conduct; acts intended to meet or engage in relationships with strangers of the opposite or same sex; acts aimed at harassing, defaming, or slandering other users; or any use for purposes different from the intended use of the Services.
3.5.10. Improperly collecting, disclosing, or providing personal information, registration information, or usage data of others.
3.5.11. Acts of interfering with the servers or network systems of the Services; using bots, cheating tools, or other improper means to manipulate the Services; deliberately exploiting vulnerabilities in the Services; making unreasonable inquiries or requests by, for example, repeatedly submitting the same issue beyond necessity; or any other act that obstructs the operation of the Services.
3.5.12. Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company.
3.5.13. Supporting or facilitating any of the acts stipulated in Sections 3.5.1 through
3.6 User Interaction
3.6.1 Users may delete any content they have posted at their discretion. Additionally, users may block any other user at any time through the Settings > Block Users feature. Once blocked, both parties will be mutually invisible to each other.
3.6.2 To enhance user interaction quality and matching accuracy, the Services may request or recommend users to provide partial personal information such as residence, occupation, interests, and preferences. Users may optionally provide such information; failure to provide may limit certain features or reduce matching accuracy. The Company assumes no responsibility for such impact.
3.6.3 Users understand and agree that the Company does not verify or guarantee authenticity, accuracy or completeness of any user information provided. The Services solely provide a platform for interaction, and users should exercise caution to protect personal data, assets, and rights. The Company disclaims liability for any loss or damage resulting from user negligence.
3.6.4 Users shall carefully consider the scope of personal data disclosed during user interactions and avoid sharing sensitive information such as full name, address, phone, or bank details. Users bear all consequences for voluntary disclosure.
3.6.5 The Services provide a platform for communication without explicit or implied guarantees regarding outcomes of user interactions including match success or relationship development, which depends solely on the users.
3.7 In case of suspected violation of clauses 3.5 or this section by other users, users may report via the issue reporting form (Settings > Report Issue). The Company will investigate and take appropriate actions per internal policy and law. The Company is not obligated to resolve all personal disputes or compensate losses arising from user interactions.
4. User Information
4.1 When users use the Services, the Company may store and analyze all data generated or used by users in the Services. Users agree that such data may be used for the following purposes:
4.1.1 Improve the quality of the Services and its connected products.
4.1.2 Deliver personalized advertisements within the Services’ websites and applications.
4.1.3 Publish or use publicly posted or consented content (via reproduction or modification) within the Services and related platforms for community engagement.
4.1.4 Maintain security of user access rights.
4.1.5 Understand user engagement and behavior regarding the Services.
4.2 The Company may disclose or provide user content backups to courts, investigative agencies or government authorities if legally requested and deemed legitimate, without user consent.
5. Service Provision
5.1 All random one-to-one matching prior to connection will display the matched user's partial nickname, avatar. Users must explicitly accept, or skip the match. Chats are only initiated after user acceptance. Automatic random connections without user consent are strictly prohibited.
5.2 Users shall at their own expense prepare necessary hardware and software, including computers, mobile phones, communication devices, operating systems, communication means, and electricity to use the Services. The Company reserves the right to update or modify hardware/software requirements with reasonable notice.
5.3 The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Services without prior notice if deemed necessary, without liability to users.
6. User Responsibility
6.1 Users accept full responsibility for their use of the Services.
6.2 Upon Company determination of user violation, the Company may take appropriate measures including notification, suspension or termination of user rights, without obligation to prevent or remedy the violation.
6.3 Users shall compensate for any damages incurred directly or indirectly by the Company arising from user usage of the Services.
6.4 Users warrant that multimedia or text content posted/transmitted by them (including but not limited to content, descriptions, data, programs, designs, trademarks) shall not violate laws or infringe third-party rights; users shall bear responsibility for such violations.
6.5 Upon receipt of third-party complaints, the Company may notify users and delete or suspend content pending verification of legitimate ownership.
7. Information Management
7.1 The Company shall use personal data provided by users for Service management, inquiry response, and communication purposes.
7.2 The Company may provide users’ personal data (including account identifiers) to third-party content providers within the scope of providing content.
7.3 Except as otherwise provided by law or terms, the Company will not disclose user personal data to third parties without consent.
7.4 The Company may record and analyze user activity including message traffic to improve Services.
7.5 Customer service communications generated in connection with user inquiries may be collected, processed, and used (including international transfer) for quality improvement.8. Service Suspension and Termination
8.1 The Company may suspend or terminate Services without liability for reasons including scheduled maintenance, equipment malfunction, operational or technical factors, force majeure events (power outage, natural disaster, legal epidemic, war).
8.2 The Company may suspend or terminate part or all Services upon reasonable prior notice (minimum seven days for partial, thirty days for full suspension/termination).
8.3 The Company may entrust operation of part or all Services to third parties during suspension.
9. Warranty and Disclaimer
9.1 The Company warrants that the Services and systems comply with reasonable technological and professional security standards and have taken necessary measures to prevent unauthorized intrusion or data tampering.
9.2 Except as guaranteed, the Company disclaims all warranties including fitness for purpose, accuracy, error-free operation, or non-infringement.
9.3 The Company shall only be liable for damages caused by intentional or gross negligence within the scope of actual loss, limited to amounts paid within one month prior to damage.
9.4 Users acknowledge transactions with third parties are solely between those parties without Company involvement.
9.5 Users agree that content may be duplicated or modified by third parties and shall not hold the Company liable or request compensation.
9.6 The Services launched by the Company shall also be subject to these Terms, which the Company may interpret and update at its discretion.
10. Advertising
10.1 Users authorize the display of age-appropriate ads and content within the Services.
10.2 The Company may share user content or data visible publicly or consented to advertisers for ad targeting.
11. Confidentiality Obligation
Users shall keep Company information confidential and not disclose it without prior written consent except as legally required.
12. Assignment
12.1 Users shall not assign or transfer rights or obligations or contract party status without prior Company consent.
12.2 The Company may assign its contract party status to third parties upon notice; users agree such assignment is valid.
13. Effectiveness of These Terms
13.1 Invalidity of any provision does not affect the remainder; invalid provisions will be interpreted to meet original intentions as far as possible.
13.2 The Chinese version prevails in case of discrepancies with translations.
13.3 These Terms governed by Republic of China laws excluding conflict of law provisions.
13.4 Disputes shall first be negotiated. Failing resolution, arbitration applies under Taiwan arbitration rules; Taipei District Court holds exclusive jurisdiction for disputes outside arbitration. Consumer protection laws remain unaffected.14. Legal Disclaimer / Reservation of RightsCosMate reserves the unilateral right to remove accounts or content found to violate these Terms or that jeopardize platform safety. Persistent or egregious violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
